It?s impossible to pinpoint single things about Glenn that made him so incredible; he was just the best of us. It?s so difficult to condense such an amazing person to a few sentences. It?s something I never thought I would have to write for a moment. I feel so lucky to have had him be a part of my life, even if it was only for a short time. Glenn made every event, every moment more fun, just by being there. Each memory of anyone that knew him will invariably involve his huge smile that took up his whole face, and a heart that was even bigger. Glenn tackled everything with an exuberance and indefinable Glenn-ness, his own unique quality. He was just the most genuine person I have ever met. There isn?t a single person who could say that he was less than the most beautiful boy around. We?ll miss him at every party, at every netball match or training session; there will be a hole in our group. He was taken from his family, his friends and the world before we got to see the great man it was so clear he was going to become. Love you Glenn.

There was no one else like Glenn. Those of us who were lucky enough to be part of his life know that we will never again find someone so warm, generous, friendly and genuine. His heart was as big as his smile. Words cannot describe the loss we feel without him. His place in our hearts will never be taken. We love you, Glenn, may you rest in peace.

He was the person on our netball team that got everyone to training, got us excited about playing and made the whole game enjoyable. Even on the nights when we were losing by upwards of 30 goals and half our team was struggling to keep their spirits up, he would still be playing with the biggest smile on his face. He didn?t let the little things like that get to him, he stayed positive through the worst of times and was the rock that all of us could rely on when we needed it.
